Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC)

Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is definately a building that strikes out by the very first sight!
Located next to plaza Espanya and on the start of the hill of Montjuic is a very nice place to spend half day or even a whole day visiting near-by attractions as well.
It was a building build for Barcelonas international exposition at 1929 and after that is being used as Museo Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. At the bottom of this building we also have the Magic fountain a spectacular show combining water games , colors and songs. Its a very rewarding show for those who will wait to see it.
Other nearby attractions that can be combined are Pueblo Espanyol (the Spanish Village) an open air museum with buildings from all the areas of Spain combined with some restaurants cafes and traditional art shops where you can find nice handmade spanish artifacts in good prices, and The Arenas, the huge shopping mole in the heart of plaza Espanya , a very interesting building as it used to be a bullfight arena renovated and remodeled to a shopping mole.
